SKU: N/A Category:

This Renesans brush is designed for lifting techniques, allowing you to create highlights without the need for gouache or white paint—ideal for purist approaches. It is a hard synthetic scrubbing brush with short, stiff bristles and a short white handle, featuring a flat, compact form that can gently scrub the paper surface without damaging it, revealing underlying layers.

Highly versatile, it supports a wide range of correction and texturing tasks—from background work to fine detail enhancement—making it an indispensable all-round tool in the studio.

Depending on context (e.g., painting, model making, weathering effects), “scratcher” may also be translated as: scrubbing brush, stippling brush, or (less commonly) scratch brush when referring to abrasive use.
