Beginner Watercolour Workshops in Leamington Spa

New Watercolour Workshops

Join me for a relaxed and informal fortnightly Intro to Watercolour course. Perfect for beginners or anyone returning to art after a break, these gentle sessions help you build confidence while enjoying the calm, meditative nature of watercolour.

You’ll be introduced to key skills such as colour mixing, washes, blending, and simple layering techniques. Each session focuses on a new subject and technique, helping you understand how watercolour flows and how to work with it rather than against it.

Sessions are £39 per person, including all materials, tea, and cake – just come along, relax, and enjoy some creative time for yourself.

You’re more than welcome to bring your own painting supplies—anything watercolour! I love experimenting, so feel free to try out your own paints, brushes, or paper.

I’ll also provide some materials for you to use, including my semi-professional Renesans watercolours, which are perfect for beginners. If you’d like, the shop here at Stoneleigh Arms offers art bundles with watercolour paints, brushes, and paper at a discounted price.

Why to Take an Art Class?

Mindfulness and expressing yourself through art can boost mental wellbeing, self-esteem, and even lower stress by increasing endorphins and dopamine. Hospitals like UHCW use visual arts, music, and crafts to help patients heal faster and feel less isolated.

Art also connects you with like-minded people, opening doors to new opportunities—for you and your friends. So why wait?
